The Nigerian's most popular designer, Yomi Casual has joined a long list of Nigerian celebrities spending big on new wheels this festive season. Yomi Casual got himself a brand new white Lincoln Navigator to celebrate Christmas.

moniyi Makun also known as Yomi Casual (brand name), was born January 25, 1985 (age 32) in the city of Lagos, Nigeria. His latest designs have earned the reputation of being simply perfect. Having been designed in a way that would definitely flatters you. In 2011, he won fashion designer of the year at the Nigerian Youth Merit. The super talented designer is happily married with a girl.

Nigerian gayrights activist, Bisi Alimi reacts to arrest of 57 suspected homosexuals in Lagos

Over the weekend, the Lagos state police command arrested 57 suspected homosexuals who were allegedly being initaited into the act of homosexuality. The 57 suspects were paraded before newsmen yesterday.(Read full story here)

Nigerian gayrights activist, Bisi Alimi, has reacted to the arrest. Bisi on his Facebook page, wrote

”People have parties in Lagos everyday. Sometimes the parties have more men than women and sometimes more women than men.

“The idea that there is a “gay party” or a “gay initiation party” is nothing but lack or responsibilities from the part of our police and government.

“Those innocent people are a victim of their poverty. Whether they are gay or not is not the issue, the issue is, they are poor and they will pay the highest price for being poor in a country that celebrate stolen wealth”.

Bisi Alimi, and his husband, Anthony are currently in Lagos for their holiday.

The United Kingdom-based Nigerian gay wedded his British lover, Anthony in 2016.

Alimi gained international attention when he became the first Nigerian to come out openly on television.

Tonto Dikeh Officially Changes Her Name To ‘King Tonto’

Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh has announced that her first name as officially changed from Tonto to ‘King Tonto’, a moniker she has been going with.

She wrote:

“BEAR WITH ME WHILE I OPT FOR GREATNESS..
#KINGTONTO #KINGSHIP #ARGUE WITH YOUR BANK ACCOUNT(Na joke ooo I ain’t prouding Ooo #DROPS MIC”

The name has been her Instagram handle for a while and she has already been known by that name by a lot of fans. She announced the name change yesterday with a photograph of her voter’s card.

Tonto Dikeh is one of Nigeria’s most popular faces, owing to her reel of intense roles and characters such as ‘Wild and Dirty’, ‘Family Disgrace’ and a bunch of other racy movies. Her personal life too has been a source of scandal and entertainment- after a messy divorce from her ex-husband, she started a reality show that details all the drama that her life is made up of.

Nina Chinonso Onyenobi has found her way into the news for the wrong reasons after she was caught red-handed photoshopping her pictures to boost its s*x appeal.

The ex reality show housemate who posted the pictures on her Instagram account with the caption; ”We May Encounter Many Defeats But We Must Not Be Defeated” – has long disabled her comment section to avoid vicious trolling.

A careful analysis of the pictures show they were doctored in an amateur way with the background of the pictures badly deformed.

This seems to be a trend on social media by desperate celebrities attempting to give a false perception of their beauty.

Davido‘s footprint was all over the 2018 BET Awards.

The DMW music boss was nominated in the ‘Best International Act’ award category alongside Tiwa Savage, Booba (France), Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Dadju (France), Distruction Boyz (South Africa), Fally Ipupa (DR Congo), J Hus (UK), Niska (France), Stefflon Don (UK) and Stormzy (UK).
Tonight Davido emerged the winner at the 2018 BET Awards which held at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.

Before the main awards show, Davido performed at the pre-show a few hours ago. It was an electrifying performance.

“Anything I own, she owns. She was there for me when I had nothing,” Peter Okoye said, adding that they’ve known each other for 15 years.

Speaking on the gift, Lola said: ”Well, I’m really… I’m super excited. I can’t really even… I’m really shy, so don’t take my shyness for not being surprised. I’m surprised and really, really excited. I can’t believe it.”

On her husband’s motivation for the gift, Lola said: “All my hard work na, all these years. I deserve it (laughs).”
